Put on your best boots and hat and join us on Wednesday, December 2nd on MS Teams for the SME Tucson's Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony. The section will be honoring students who have excelled in their pursuit of degrees in mining and related fields through the University of Arizona.  We will be enjoying good videochat, great friends and a hosted trivia!

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to hold a virtual awards ceremony in lieu of our annual scholarship fundraiser dinner. Given the uncertainty, we felt it would not be prudent to commit financially to a venue or to hold an in-person event for safety reasons.

We are still committed to providing scholarships to qualified students and are asking for your donation. We need to raise a minimum of $10,500 for our December 2nd virtual scholarship awards ceremony, and we need your support.

Because we are not hosting a dinner, our fundraising needs are lower, and we have adjusted our sponsorship levels accordingly. Some sponsorship levels have an availability limit since the specific sponsorship will be associated to a specific scholarship recipient. The table below outlines our 2020 sponsorship levels and benefits.
