About the Speaker:
Dr. Dale Rucker is Chief Technical Officer of hydroGEOPHYSICS, Inc (HGI) in Tucson, AZ. Before coming to HGI in 2004, he received a PhD from the University of Arizona in the Department of Hydrology and Water Resources, where his research focused on geophysical methods to better characterize water infiltration for artificial and natural recharge, bioremediation, and contaminant mapping. He has worked at HGI for the past 15 years, during which he has worked on a wide variety of mining related problems, from exploration and operation to closure, reclamation, and abandoned mines. Recently, his focus has been on characterization and secondary recovery of heap leach pads for base and precious metal mines.
