Hybrid Meeting: Join us for our first SME Tucson Hybrid Meeting! For those that want to join us in person, please go ahead and make your reservation. Hexagon has graciously allowed us to host this event at their office and is our venue/food/drink sponsor. Make sure to select your meal (beef, chicken, or vegetarian/vegan) when making your reservation. Reservation deadline is Friday, August 6th, at noon.  For those who choose to join us virtually, the link to the Teams meeting is found below.

Speaker: Sarah Richman, Environment and Permitting Principal, South32 Hermosa Project

About The Speaker: Sarah Richman, Environment and Permitting Principal for the South32 Hermosa Project, holds a master’s degree in environmental science and management, and started her career as an environmental consultant in California. She now resides and works in her home state of Arizona, where she has focused on mining for the past six years. Richman has more than eight years of permitting experience, which she is bringing to bear for the zinc-lead-silver-manganese Hermosa Project in Santa Cruz County. Considered one of the most exciting base metal projects in the mining industry, the project is owned by Australia-based miner South32 and is still being explored and studied for development.

Cancellations and No Shows:
Please call or email by the registration deadline to cancel.  If you do not cancel your reservation by the deadline, SME is still required to pay for your dinner and you will in turn be billed. Thank you.
