Speaker: Dan Johnson
Dan Johnson is a graduate of the University of Arizona with over three and half decades of environmental management, hydrological engineering, operations, construction and project management experience in the state’s mining industry.
Most recently, Mr. Johnson was at Wood as a Principal Hydrogeologist working on international and domestic mining projects. Prior to Wood, he was the Vice-President and General Manager at Taseko’s Florence CopperProject, where he led the company's permitting, technical, construction and operational commissioning efforts with the support of a strong project team over a nine-year span.
Prior to Florence Copper, he was Technical Services and Environmental Manager/Director for projects in North America and Chile at QuadraFNX, and has held senior levels for Phelps Dodge, Freeport-McMoRan, Rio Tinto, Wood and Montgomery WatsonHarza.
He also has served as an elected officer for over 10 years on the Arizona Mining Association Executive Board of Directors .

Cancellations and No Shows:
Please call or email by the registration deadline to cancel. If you do not cancel your reservation by the deadline, SME is still required to pay for your dinner and you will in turn be billed. Thank you.
