Program Description: Imagine the day when all your geologic exploration data, land ownership and claims maps, and every other piece of information you need to explore a mineral deposit from sources across the world, are delivered almost instantly to your desktop in a format that allows you to map, analyze, and model them with little or no additional manipulation of the data. That system, the Geoscience Information Network (GIN) is being built now in Arizona.
