2008 Diggers and Duffers Golf Tournament

This tournament is a fundraiser that is a tradition in the U of A SME Student Chapter. All proceeds go directly to students who would like to attend the 2009 SME National Convention in Denver, CO, the 2009 Student/Alumni Drilling Competition held on campus and the 2009 Intercollegiate Mining Competition hosted by Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. These events are an exceptional opportunity for students to learn about different aspects of our international industry as well as meet with some of its leaders. In the 2007 tournament we sold out the course and raised over $10,750. This year’s event will be held on December 6, 2008.

Player registration forms for the golf tournament will be sent out in early November. The cost is $100 per golfer, four golfers to a team. Foursomes will be assembled based on these forms. Please direct all inquiries to jtysoe@email.arizona.edu, 480-202-2690.
