- JANUARY DINNER MEETING -
Join us for our next SME Tucson Dinner Meeting! Please note that the January meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21st! Make sure to select your meal when making your reservation. Reservation deadline is Friday, January 16th.
Program:
Combining Reality Capture Data for a Complete Project Picture
Modern projects demand more than a single data source. In this presentation, Kris Brandt explores how combining datasets from multiple sensors—mobile, terrestrial, and conventional survey methods—creates a more accurate and complete understanding of the built environment.
Using a neighborhood-scale example, Kris will walk through real-world workflows for integrating mobile mapping, terrestrial laser scanning, and traditional survey data while maintaining data integrity across platforms. Attendees will gain insight into how these complementary methods work together to capture design elements, reduce data gaps, and deliver reliable, decision-ready results.
This session is ideal for geospatial professionals looking to strengthen multi-sensor workflows and better leverage reality capture technologies on complex projects.
